My wife says I need to go back to the doctor. I say I need to go to get an acid medicine, since my doc had simply put me on Pepcid anyway. You know, though, I wonder if my kidney stone (back in September, although I'm wondering if I'm making another one) has something to do with my steady diet of calcium-based antacids... I'll perhaps have to do a blog post on that sooner or later...

And now, gotta get some sleep (although I may read and/or comment on another blog or two first).Tony Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238794123908966604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4736064210982210465.post-40485427259382605352008-01-31T10:18:00.000-06:002008-01-31T10:18:00.000-06:00Sleep problems could be nutrition-related. I mean... seven or eight, my mom would come and sit on the side of my bed and read Job 33:15-16 from the Living Bible, because I think that was what I could best understand at that age:

"For God speaks again and again, in dreams and visions of the night when deep sleep falls on men as they lie in their beds. He opens their ears in times like that, and gives them wisdom and instruction."

Thankfully she didn't read from the NIV: "He may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings..."

:)Laudiohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09513558742663701140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4736064210982210465.post-2872937192506096902008-01-31T01:48:00.000-06:002008-01-31T01:48:00.000-06:00Christy, your name kept running through my head an...Christy, your name kept running through my head and I knew it was familar. I just figured out why that might be. Did you at one time attend Living Word church? If so, I remember your husband was going to be attending Faulkner. If not, I knew someone else with your name.

PamAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4736064210982210465.post-28773585832334512292008-01-30T12:25:00.000-06:002008-01-30T12:25:00.000-06:00You're welcome...? :) I just meant the biological...You're welcome...? :) I just meant the biological clock part of a roach... but I'm not sure if that's any better...Tony Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238794123908966604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4736064210982210465.post-84201731367087574552008-01-30T11:22:00.000-06:002008-01-30T11:22:00.000-06:00Thanks for comparing me to a roach, Tony. Thanks for comparing me to a roach, Tony.Christyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18101046996892349364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4736064210982210465.post-83283740317080806452008-01-29T20:48:00.000-06:002008-01-29T20:48:00.000-06:00Maybe you're supposed to be living in Australia......Maybe you're supposed to be living in Australia... I once saw a program about this lady doctor who isolated the part of a cockroach that causes it to be active (the "clock" in a roach is an on mechanism - it makes the roach active at night, not inactive during the day), and grafted the clock from an Australian roach into an American roach. This caused the roach to be active 24 hours per day. Eventually the roach developed some sort of cancer-like growth that blocked its feeding tube, and the roach died.

So, maybe you should be a missionary in Australia? :)

And as far as your brilliant thoughts at night... just put 'em on your blog (it doesn't care what time it is) and then go back to bed...Tony Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11238794123908966604noreply@blogger.com
