too much of a good thing

Well, we have had a lot of rain lately. So my garden is now under water and I'm concerned that some, if not all of it, will be lost. We have already harvested and eaten some of the lettuce, so I guess it's not a total loss. Still, all that work; I hope it'll be OK.

From these photos, it appears the only place that flooded was the garden! Murphy's law...

Wow! That is a lot of water and what a large garden! It's really fun to see your yard. It looks like you live in a beautiful place, and it's so green. Hope the flood didn't ruin your veggies.

WV: strizzle- It was definitely more than just a strizzle, it was a complete downpour, foshizzle.

That looks like our yard! We have had so much rain this year and people still tell us we are in a drought!

Mark, I told you before that our yards look very similar - pretty neat, huh? The land behind USED to be farm land until a developer bought it. Grrrr! There used to be cows back grazing back there.
