Answer me this...

Should someone's belief be challenged even if you already know their answer?

My thought is YES. This is how people convert and are saved...if at the right time their belief is "challenged" and their heart is sensitive to the Holy Spirit, this may be the time that they repent, have a change of heart and mind and then their soul is eternally secure.

My answer is yes also. The things you've challenged them on will be on their mind and help them to rethink what they believe. Especially if they already have doubts about what they claim to believe in the first place.

Definitely :)

Maybe. It depends on one's motives. Am I simply looking for an argument, or am I seeking to help someone?

Thanks for your thoughts on such a vague question.

I'm not sure ... I think often we know where each other stands, we just don't voice it. I would like to hope my lifestyle influences those around me more so than what I say.

That someone's belief is challenged by the very way I live, I want them to say ..."I really want what Mark's got." I want to challenge those around by the way I live ... and hey, I can be pretty vocal when I need to be.
